Maverick and Cash Lane

(Orange County, California / 11 and 13 years old)

We are Cash (bass) and Maverick (drums). We are brothers, bandmates and best friends. Our love for music began at an early age. Learning to play drums and bass guitar has become more than a hobby, it’s a passion. We can’t remember a time when music wasn’t in our life and can’t imagine a life without it. Growing up in school, we always felt a bit different since most kids play sports. We weren’t sure how to fit in. Over time, we realized it was really cool to be different! Playing music on stage makes us feel alive. There’s nothing better than jamming with friends. If we hear a song we like, we focus and learn how to play it. We have been influenced by a lot of different bands, but some of our favorites to jam along to are Van Halen, Metallica and Queen. Not only has music taught us self discipline from practicing hours at a time, it has taught us self expression and love. We can’t wait to share our love of music with all of you.
