Izzie Brunson

I have been wrestling since I was 9. I started wrestling because I saw my Dad's high school wrestling bracket and thought how cool! My Dad has been my driving force for wrestling. I love that the sport is not only an individual sport but also a team sport. I wrestle for a club team, my school team, and an all-girls' team.

I have won several prestige wrestling events but my highest accomplishment so far is taking a Gold Medal in Wrestling for 33kg 15U at the Pan American Games in Panama this past October. My goal is to make it to Worlds and then the Olympic Team. I also want to earn a scholarship in wrestling and go to college.

Wrestling might be my passion but I love modeling and acting. I have had the pleasure of working with some well-known photographers over the years. I hope I am able to continue to pursue modeling because I really enjoy it but wrestling is very important to me so I might have to some sacrifices for my sport.

To keep me motivated and focused through all my practices, my schooling, my traveling, and my tournaments, I listen to music. I love Indie Rock such as Vampire Weekend, On My mind, TV on the Radio and Arcade Fire.
